Skin Analysis – Do you really know your skin?

The skin is much more complex than what can be see with the naked eye – that’s why we use the Observ 520 for professional skin analysis. With advanced analysis technology we can view blemishes, fine lines, dryness and uneven skin tone in depth. This allows us to better understand your unique skin concerns to treat existing imperfections, and even address underlying concerns before they become visible.

What will it show me?

Get ready to face the facts on the true state of your skin! The Observ 520 will examine:

  • Wrinkles and fine lines – including ones you can’t even see yet!
  •  The sebum (oil) content of your skin, which can contribute to acne and blemishes
  • Pigmentation – closely assess the severity of freckles, sun spots and age spots
  • The true size of your pores – determines if enlarged pores are a problem for your skin
  • The moisture content of your skin. Skin dehydration is a serious age-contributing factor!
  • Loss of skin firmness. Is your skin ageing well, or losing elasticity at a rapid rate?
  • Your skin tone your overall skin health

What will the results mean?

After the analyser scans your skin, it will automatically provide 6 different images of your skin. We are then equipped with thorough and accurate information on how to best go about prescribing a personal skin treatment plan that will provide the best long term skin health possible.

Keep in touch with your skin

Our professional skin analysis not only correctly determines the problem areas in your skin; it also allows you the opportunity to track the progress of your skin over time. You can see closer than ever before the state of your skin before treatment, and also how it looks throughout and after treatment – so you will feel confident and assured in the real results your treatments are providing.

We recommend clients receive professional skin analysis with the Observ 520 at least twice a year to accurately track their skin progress and address any underlying skin health concerns as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure your skin remains at optimum health all year round!

Age Management
LED age management stimulates collagen and elastin to reduce the appearance of superficial wrinkles, neck lines, and other signs of ageing.

Skin Tone Correction
LED pigmentation correction effectively fades and removes age spots, sunspots and discolouration to improve overall skin tone, balance and radiance.

Redness Reduction
LED redness reduction soothes and detoxifies the skin, reducing rosacea, skin redness and irritation.

Dermal Repair
LED dermal repair penetrates the subcutaneous layer of the skin, stimulating blood flow and reducing skin and tissue inflammation by speeding up healing.

How do MediLUX treatments work?
LED treatments with MediLUX utilise 1,500 powerful light emitting diodes ranging from blue to green, yellow, red and near-infrared. Each light wavelength targets different specific skin concerns, and treatment is commonly used to address acne congestion, facial redness, pigmentation, uneven tone, neck lines, wrinkles and signs of ageing.

Blue Light (415nm)
Reduces sebaceous activity and acne vulgaris. Works to clear congestion and kills acne- causing bacteria.

Green Light (520nm)
Assists with skin tone correction and aids detoxication to reduce redness and irritation for a balanced, calm complexion.

Yellow Light (590nm)
Stimulates collagen production and assists wound repair to naturally heal and regenerate skin from within. Beneficial for rosacea and post-laser treatments.

Red Light (633nm)
Increases blood circulation and lymphatic ow to encourage cellular renewal and promote a youthful complexion.

Near-Infrared Light (830nm)
Increases white blood cell production to regenerate, rejuvenate, tighten and repair inflamed and ageing skin. Works to boost ATP for deep cellular regeneration and wound healing.

Are MediLUX treatments suitable for me?

MediLUX treatments are safe, comfortable and suitable for all skin types. During consultation, your clinician will discuss a treatment plan tailored to your individual skin concerns.

What is the difference between Red Light LED and Near-Infrared LED? Red light targets the dermal layers, providing excellent results in collagen and elastin synthesis. Near-infrared light is able to penetrate even deeper in the dermis — reaching the subcutaneous layer of the skin and muscle to enable deep tissue repair and cellular regeneration.

Can MediLUX LED treatments be combined with other aesthetic treatments?
MediLUX treatments are restorative by nature and will optimise results when paired with other skincare-based and technology-enhanced treatments.

eDERMASTAMP SKIN NEEDLING

Collagen Induction Therapy Treatments with eDermastamp

Designed for clinical skin rejuvenation of the face, hands, neck, décolletage and body our skin needling Collagen Induction Therapy treatments with eDermaStamp® are ideal for:

• Fine line and wrinkle reduction
• Skin rejuvenation and healing
• A volumised, plumper looking complexion
• Acne and facial scarring reduction
• Stretch mark and body scarring reduction
• Increased skin elasticity and firmness
• Improvements in skin texture and tone

Because client comfort, safety and results are our top priority we choose eDermaStamp® for our treatments. This industry leading micro-needling technology is German engineered and listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Comfortable Treatment, Enhanced Results

Unlike other needling technologies, the medical-grade micro-needles of eDermaStamp® by Dermaroller® are non-traumatic, cone-shaped needles that strategically displace the skin during the puncture process. This creates a micro-wound that seals within minutes of treatment. These precision-manufactured needles reduce the occurrence of undesirable micro-needling side effects such as bruising, swelling and significant downtime.

At 150 strokes per second, the eDermaStamp® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin. Poor quality micro-needling pens traditionally operate at 100 120 strokes per second. This slower insertion rate can cause scratches and micro-tears in the tissue as the tip moves across the face. Respecting the integrity of the epidermis and dermis, eDermaStamp® uses fast, atraumatic (non-traumatic) perforations to gently trigger the generation of new tissue.

Enhanced Skincare Infusions

Micro-needling produces microchannels that transport our targeted corrective skincare products into the deepest layers of the skin. This allows for increased absorption and effectiveness of active skincare ingredients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during treatment?

Surgical-grade micro-needles create tiny wounds that accelerate the body’s natural healing process and work to repair the skin through increased production of collagen and elastin.

Are treatments painful?

Thanks to the optimal needle count, needle design and speed of treatment many clients find treatments with eDermaStamp® involve minimal discomfort and are more comfortable than treatments with standard micro-needling devices.

What happens after treatment?

Depending on treatment intensity you may experience redness and minor pin-point bleeding immediately after a micro-needling treatment. Post-treatment redness may appear like a mild sunburn and last up to 3 days. Your clinician will recommend an aftercare plan and a post treatment skin care product to assist in skin hydration and accelerating your results.

How many treatments are required?

Clients are able to see results in as little as 13 days with collagen production formulating 6 weeks post-treatment. Depending on the treatment area and desired outcome, most clients will require 4-6 treatments to achieve their best results.
